James Bryan Conant

James Conant is a Pittsfield native and the incumbent councilor for Ward 4. He has a long history of involvement in local politics, having served for approximately 20 years in various capacities, including as a member of the School Committee, Parks Commission, Conservation Commission, and chair of the Community Preservation Commission. Professionally, he has worked as the golf course superintendent at the Country Club of Pittsfield. He has also been involved in community organizations such as the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club and the Pittsfield Babe Ruth League.
