James 'Jim' Jewett is a lifelong resident of Madison County and a farmer. He recently retired as a Lecturer from the College of Business at James Madison University. He has served on the Madison County Board of Supervisors since 2022. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington, and a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Technology from Virginia Tech. He operates a grain farm with his wife and two sons. During his first term, he served as the Chair of the Economic Development Committee, Skyline CAP Director, Representative to the Virginia Association of Counties, and Library Board Representative.
