James 'Vell' Rives IV is a psychiatrist with 20 years of experience. He has lived in Arlington for 26 years and is the parent of a Wakefield High School graduate and a current Wakefield freshman. Rives is serving his seventh year on Arlington's School Health Advisory Board and previously served as an Arlington County Election Officer. This is his fourth bid for a seat on the school board.
