Jas Jeet 'JJ' Singh

Jas Jeet 'JJ' Singh is an incumbent delegate who assumed office in January 2025 after winning a special election. Born and raised in Northern Virginia to parents who immigrated from India, his career has spanned public service and private enterprise. He was the first turbaned Sikh to serve in the US Peace Corps (Bolivia). During the Obama Administration, he worked at the White House Office of Management and Budget and later served as an Economic Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Chris Coons. He is currently the President of Retreat Hotels and Resorts, a hotel development and management company. Singh holds a BA from the University of Virginia, and an MPA and MBA from Harvard University. He lives in Loudoun County with his wife and two daughters.
