Jen M. Fleisher

Jen M. Fleisher is a program officer with the Blue Ridge Health District, where she began on the first day of the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020. She was involved in launching mass vaccination sites, directing a mobile vaccine program, and organizing drive-through clinics. Currently, she leads the District's Community Health Improvement Plan, focusing on long-term healthcare needs like transportation access. Her healthcare career began in 2009 as a doula, supporting over 120 families. She earned a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Fleisher lives in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville with her husband and son.
