Jennifer Robinson has served on the Cary Town Council representing District A since being appointed in 1999. She was named Mayor Pro Tem in December 2023. Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, she moved to Cary in 1995. Her career is in the software industry, currently working for SAS, where she has held roles including Director of Local Government Solutions and a new role overseeing Global Government Strategy and Engagement. Her civic engagement began with local land use matters before her appointment to the council. She is a mother of four.
