Jerry R. Dofflemyer

Jerry Dofflemyer is a lifelong resident of Luray and a graduate of James Madison University. He previously served as the Mayor of Luray from January 2021 to January 2025. His service on the Town Council began in March 2015 with an appointment, followed by a special election win in November 2015, and he served until December 2020. In February 2025, he was appointed to fill the council seat left vacant by the newly elected mayor, the same seat he is now running for. Dofflemyer has also served on the town's planning commission. He is active in the community as a member of the Masonic Lodge and has past leadership roles in the Luray Jaycees and the Luray/Page Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Nora, operate several local businesses, including Pass Mountain Rentals and the West End Carwash.
