John A. “Gus” Pursley III

John “Gus” Pursley III is a 1975 graduate of the Georgia Military College (GMC) Preparatory School. He is the President and CEO of Fowler Flemister Concrete. Pursley has a long history of community involvement, having served on the boards of the United Way of Baldwin County, the Milledgeville Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce, and the Mary Vinson Library. He is also a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board. His family has a multi-generational legacy of supporting GMC; he and his wife Helen established the Gus and Helen Pursley, III Scholarship Endowment to provide financial assistance to GMC Preparatory School students.
