John Stefanini is a lifelong resident of Framingham, having grown up in the Coburnville neighborhood. He is a graduate of Framingham Public Schools, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and the New England School of Law. His career in public service includes serving as a Framingham Selectman, a five-term State Representative, and a member of the Charter Commission that drafted the city's charter. He was first elected as the District 8 City Councilor in 2019. Outside of government, Stefanini has worked as a teacher, attorney, and lacrosse coach. He is a founding member of the Coburnville Tripoli Neighborhood Association and the Framingham Business Association.
