Juandiego R. Wade is a candidate for Member City Council - At Large in Charlottesville, Virginia — 2025 General Election. Running as Democratic.

Juandiego R. Wade is the current Mayor of Charlottesville, elected to City Council in November 2021. He was born in Richmond, VA, and earned a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Norfolk State University, followed by a Master's in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. Since 1991, he has worked for Albemarle County, first as a transportation planner and later as a career coordinator. Prior to his election to City Council, Wade served four terms on the Charlottesville City School Board, beginning in 2006. He is actively involved in numerous community organizations, including the United Way of Greater Charlottesville, ReadyKids, and 100 Black Men of Central Virginia.
