Julie Flowers is the current President of the Beverly City Council, serving her third term as a Councilor At-Large. A 1997 graduate of Beverly High School, she earned a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College and a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School. For the past 14 years, she has been a minister at the First Baptist Church in Beverly. She is a mother to a middle school student and has been actively involved in the community, serving with the Beverly Middle School PTO, the Beverly Rotary Club, and on the Board of Harborlight Nursery School.
