Justin J. Hurst is an attorney, small business owner, and former educator in the Springfield Public School system. He was first elected to the Springfield City Council in 2013 and served four terms, including two years as City Council President in 2019 and 2020. He is a graduate of the Springfield Public Schools, the University of Virginia (B.A.), and Western New England University School of Law (J.D.). He ran for Mayor of Springfield in the 2023 election.
