Karrie K. Delaney

Karrie Delaney has been a member of the Virginia House of Delegates since 2018, initially representing the 67th district and, after redistricting, the 9th district since 2024. Born in Tampa, Florida, she attended the University of South Florida. Before her career in the state legislature, she worked at a group home for foster children and served as the Communications Director for Shared Hope International, a non-profit focused on ending sex trafficking. Delaney also started her own consulting firm and has been active in local community roles, including chairing the Fairfax County Citizen Corps Council and the Fairfax County Library Board of Trustees. Prior to moving to Virginia, she served on the West Melbourne, Florida city council.
