Kathryn H. Beard

Dr. Kathryn H. Beard is a longtime resident of Botetourt County with over 35 years of experience in education, serving as a teacher, administrator, and leader in higher education. She is now retired. Beard has held Virginia Department of Education licensure in Administration, English, History, Marketing, Business, and Family and Consumer Sciences. Her career has included work at Virginia Western Community College and serving on the Botetourt BTEC Advisory Board. Her work has been recognized with the Commonwealth of Virginia's Award for Exceptional and Exemplary Contributions to Vocational Education.
