Kenann McKenzie-DeFranza

Dr. Kenann McKenzie-DeFranza has served multiple terms on the Beverly School Committee. Her career in education spans 25 years, including experience as an Associate Professor of Practice at Gordon College's School of Education, a former Director at Tufts University's Generous Listening and Dialogue Center, and a role in the US Department of Education. She is the founder of Aspiring Spirit, LLC, a small business, and is an active member of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce and Beverly Rotary Club. In 2022, she received the Heroine Award from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Commission on the Status of Women.
