Kevin M. Smith is a resident of Hayes and is seeking a third term on the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors. He previously served three terms on the Gloucester County School Board. In 2021, Smith retired as the officer in charge of security at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital after a 37-year career. He is also the in-school suspension coordinator at Gloucester High School. Smith holds a master's degree in ministry, is pursuing a doctorate in theology, and has been the pastor of Wayland Baptist Church in Mathews for 24 years.
