Kristin Hoffman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has been a resident of Vienna, Virginia, for over 25 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of Business in 1990. Her career has been in the technology and finance sectors as a program manager. Hoffman is a military mom to two sons who graduated from Fairfax County Public Schools. She is actively involved in her community, serving on the board of an organization that provides equine therapy to veterans and as a job counselor for a nonprofit helping women achieve financial stability. Her affiliations include the Greater McLean Republican Women's Club, Women in Housing & Finance, and the National Economists Club.
