LaTonia Monroe Naylor was born in Springfield and is a graduate of Central High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Elms College and a Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy from Bay Path College. She has served on the School Committee since 2018 and was elected Vice Chair in 2025. Professionally, she is the Director of AmeriCorps and an adjunct professor at Springfield College and Worcester State University. She has co-founded two nonprofit organizations, Parent Villages Inc. and VITAL Center, Inc.
