Lauren Shernoff is the Leesburg District Representative for the Loudoun County School Board. She was born in Ohio and later graduated from Chantilly High School in Fairfax County, Virginia. She earned a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development and Education and a Master's in Education from The Ohio State University. Before joining the school board, Shernoff was a classroom teacher for 10 years in Fairfax County and later worked as an Elementary Literacy Facilitator and held a literacy and science-focused position at Guilford Elementary in Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS). She has lived in Leesburg for the past ten years with her husband and two daughters who attend LCPS schools. She has also served as the PTA secretary for Tolbert Elementary School.
