Linda Jane Colbert

Linda Jane Colbert is a lifelong resident of Vienna, having moved to the town in 1968. She graduated from James Madison High School, where she later returned to teach math. Colbert earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Virginia and a master's degree in education from Virginia Tech. Currently, she runs a math tutoring business. Her career in public service began with an appointment to the Town's Transportation Safety Commission before she was elected to the Town Council in 2014. In 2020, she was elected Mayor of Vienna. She is actively involved in numerous community organizations, including the Vienna Rotary, Vienna Business Association, and Historic Vienna Inc.
