Linea Palmisano was first elected to the Minneapolis City Council in 2013 and is the incumbent for Ward 13. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science and earned an MBA from the University of Minnesota. Before her time on the council, her professional experience included roles at IBM Global Services and UnitedHealth Group. Palmisano has a history of community involvement, including serving as the board chair of the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council and founding NAVIGATE, a college access program for immigrants. She lives in the Linden Hills neighborhood with her husband and two sons.
