Lisa D. Larson-Torres

Lisa Larson-Torres is an incumbent member of the Charlottesville City School Board, having first been elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2021. She has served as the board's chair. A resident of Charlottesville since 1999, she works as a home-care physical therapist. Larson-Torres earned her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from California State University, Long Beach. Her advocacy in education began when advocating for her own child's needs, which led her to join the Special Education Advisory Committee before running for the school board.
