Llewellyn W. Gilliam Jr. was born and raised in Prince Edward County and graduated from Prince Edward Academy in 1976. He has been the Owner and President of Mid-Atlantic Irrigation Co., Inc since 2011, where he has worked since 1989. Mr. Gilliam has also served as a volunteer firefighter for 44 years at the Darlington Heights Fire Dept. In 2023, he was recognized as a graduate of the Virginia Certified County Supervisors' Program by the Virginia Association of Counties (VACo).
