Mario D. Haggerty is a candidate for Virginia House of Delegates District 67 in Colonial Beach, Virginia — 2025 General Election. Running as Democratic Party.

Mario D. Haggerty is a retired United States Navy veteran who served for over two decades, enlisting in 1996 and retiring as a naval officer in 2019. Following his military career, he worked as a contractor managing defense projects for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division and the Missile Defense Agency. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Human Relations. Haggerty has been active in his community, serving on the boards of the Colonial Beach Performing Arts Association and Beach Arts Music and Mentorship, as President of the Potomac Renaissance Homeowner's Association, and as a board member of the Placid Bay Estates Civic Association.
