Mark C. Downey

Dr. Mark Downey is a pediatrician from Williamsburg, Virginia. He grew up in the 96th district, attended public schools, and continued his education at the University of Virginia and later in medical school. He has four children who attend the same schools he did and is married to a special education teacher. Downey has previously run for the House of Delegates in 2019 and 2021. He is a member of the York-Poquoson Democratic Committee.
