Michael J. Webert was born in Denver, Colorado, on September 24, 1979. He has lived in Virginia for over two decades, moving to Fauquier County in 1999. Webert graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree in Communications. His professional background is in agriculture; he began managing his family's farm, Locust Hill Farm, in 2007 and now owns Black Locust Livestock with his wife, Rebecca. They also co-own a livestock marketing and consulting business. Webert was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2011. He and his wife reside in Warrenton with their two sons.
