Michael Cannon is the incumbent City Councilor for District 4, first elected in 2017 as part of Framingham's first City Council. He ran unopposed in 2019 and 2021. Before the transition to a city form of government, Cannon was an outspoken member of the Framingham Town Meeting. He is a business owner. He has served as the Chair of the Economic Development Subcommittee and Vice Chair of the Finance Subcommittee on the City Council.
