Micheal Allen

Michael Allen, born March 13, 1972, is a Republican candidate for Attorney General of Colorado in the 2026 election. A U.S. Navy veteran and Colorado native, he earned his law degree from the University of Kansas. Allen has extensive experience as a prosecutor, including with the Kansas Attorney General’s Office. He is the Incumbent 4th Judicial District Attorney, a position he assumed in 2021. Allen states he is running to address inadequate public safety reform and the state's need for change, attributing issues to the current governmental imbalance and seeking to broaden his judicial impact.
