Monica Felecia Walker

Monica Walker has lived in Greensboro for over 22 years. She was the founding Executive Director of the Guilford County Schools Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is a partner with the Groundwater Institute and a senior leader at the Racial Equity Institute, where she leads workshops on racial equity. Her community involvement includes serving as president of the Gorrell Street Neighborhood Association, a member of the Greensboro Board of Adjustment, and chair of the Southeast Greensboro Unified Neighborhood Council.
