Nhan Huynh is a first-generation immigrant from Vietnam and a U.S. Army veteran. After his military career was cut short by an injury, he pursued a career in technology, working as an IT consultant for federal agencies like the DIA, NASA, and NIH. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology and attended Virginia Tech. Huynh previously ran for the House of Delegates in District 9 in 2023. He is now running for election in District 9 again for the November 4, 2025 election.
