Nicole Tarlton Cole

Nicole Tarlton Cole was born in Hampton and raised in Highland Springs, Virginia. She is a graduate of Henrico County public schools. Cole earned a B.S. in Management from the University of Maryland College Park and an M.B.A. in Finance and Health Services Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. She is a small business owner, operating Nicole Cole Financial Services Group and The College Money Team. In 2021, she was elected to the Spotsylvania County Public School Board, where she currently serves as Vice Chair. Cole also founded a nonprofit called Pathways to Success Foundation, focused on education advocacy. She has served on the Spotsylvania Board of Supervisors' Citizens Budget Review Committee and is the President of the Board of Directors of the Rappahannock YMCA.
