O'Brian Martin is a lifelong resident of Orange County and a graduate of Orange County Public Schools. He is in his final semester at Virginia Tech, studying hospitality and tourism management, along with entrepreneurship, innovation and technology management. While at Orange County High School, he founded the first-ever Orange County School Board Student Representative position to give students a direct voice. He has served as the president of DECA's high school division, an international organization for students in business and entrepreneurship. Martin also runs a small business and serves on the Orange County Alumni and Friends Foundations Board, helping to raise scholarship funds for students pursuing Career and Technical Education.
