Patricia S. Delaney has served as the Treasurer for the city of Lexington for over 50 years. She was first appointed to the role in 1974 to fill an unexpired term and was first elected in 1977. She moved to Lexington in 1968 from Easthampton, New York. Delaney holds an associate's degree from Virginia Western Community College and a bachelor of arts degree from Emory and Henry College.
