Paul Douglas Dean is a graduate of Dudley High School (1974) and the owner of Dean's Pest Control, LLC. He has a long history of public service in Gibsonville, having previously served two terms on the Board of Aldermen from 2011 to 2019 and also serving on the Gibsonville Planning Board. He was appointed to his current seat on the board to fill the term of a member who passed away.
