Paul W. Williams is a native of Glasgow, a graduate of Natural Bridge High School and Roanoke College, and a veteran who served eight years in the military. Before entering local politics, he was a retired teacher and baseball coach for the Rockbridge County school system. Williams first won the mayoral election in 2021 as a write-in candidate and is running for his third term. He is a member of Union Baptist Church and has a daughter and two grandchildren.
