Phil C. North is a long-time resident of Roanoke County, having lived there for over 30 years. He graduated from Lynchburg College with a degree in Business Administration and worked for Norfolk Southern railroad for 39 years, retiring as an account manager. North has a significant history of community involvement, notably serving as the president of the Vinton Recreation Club for 12 years. He was first elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2018 and has served as Chairman in 2019 and 2024.
