Robert Rabe has been a resident of Orange County for twelve years. He is a husband and father of six children, four of whom are enrolled in Orange County schools. Rabe is the owner of Rita's Italian Ice & Custard in the Locust Grove Town Center. Prior to moving to Orange County, he served as a Police Sergeant with the Maryland Transportation Authority Police for ten years. For the last fourteen years, he has held leadership positions within the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and currently serves as the State Traffic Operations Manager.
