Robyn D. Whittington was elected to the Amelia County School Board for District 2 in November 2021. She is a graduate of the Essex County Public School system and Virginia Tech, where she earned a degree in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences in 2004. Her professional experience includes work in small grains and soybean breeding research, serving as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent in Amelia County, and teaching Biology, Environmental Science, and Horticulture at Amelia County High School. She and her husband, Colin, operate a certified seed and beef cattle farm and have six children.
