Sally A. Duncan is a history teacher, renter, and mother of five. Originally from Michigan, she moved to Albemarle County a decade ago after her family lost their home in the 2008 housing crash. She attended Piedmont Virginia Community College before transferring to the University of Virginia, where she earned an undergraduate degree in American Studies in 2020 and a graduate degree in Religious Studies in 2023. Her civic experience includes serving on her local Library Board in Michigan and on the Historic Resources Committee in Charlottesville. She has three children who are students at Albemarle High School.
