Sara H. Ratcliffe

Sara Ratcliffe is a resident of Greene County and a community advocate with three decades of political experience. Growing up with a single mother who faced health and financial challenges instilled in her a desire to advocate for those whose voices are often unheard in government. She later became the primary caregiver for her father, who was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Ratcliffe earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from George Washington University. Her career includes working as a staff member for U.S. Senator J. James Exon and on various political campaigns, including for President Barack Obama in 2008. She and her husband have one son.
