Sarah Ortego was elected to the WJCC School Board for the Jamestown District in 2021 and currently serves as the board chair. Prior to her time on the board, she worked on Capitol Hill, at the White House, the Department of State, and as a strategic communications consultant. She holds a B.A. in Government from Smith College and a master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. She is a mother of three children in WJCC schools.
