Shawn Brown has been the mayor of Claremont since 2013. He previously served on the City Council after being elected in 2009. Alongside his political career, Brown is the vice president of safety with Cargo Transporters, a trucking company co-founded by his grandfather. He has worked at the family business since he was 12, holding various roles from cleaning and operations to his current leadership position in the safety department.
