Sheila A. Williamson-Branch

Sheila A. Williamson-Branch has served as the Danville City Treasurer since 2016. Her office was officially accredited by the Treasurers' Association of Virginia in July 2020, a certification that requires passing an external audit and adhering to high professional standards. She has an extensive background in finance and accounting, with over 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Williamson-Branch holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Hampton University, an MBA from Averett University, and a Master of Science in Accounting from Strayer University. She has also pursued doctoral studies in business and education.
