Steve Bashore, born in 1969, is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Oklahoma's 7th District, first elected in November 2020. He also serves as Deputy Majority Floor Leader for the Oklahoma House of Representatives. Bashore holds multiple advanced degrees and previously worked as a general manager and an athletic commission administrator. He advocates for 100% Pro-Life and Second Amendment positions, improved education and teacher pay, and expanding broadband access. He recently authored House Bill 3244 to strengthen laws against organized retail crime and identity theft, and is a candidate for re-election in 2024.
