Steven E. Gobble, Jr., age 48, is a graduate of Abingdon High School. His career includes roles in real estate and working for a pest elimination business. Following an unsuccessful run for the same office in 2021, he spent two years working for the Washington County Commissioner of the Revenue's office to learn the aspects of the job. He also ran for a city school board seat in 2022. He is the current Chairman of the Bristol Virginia Republican Committee.
