He later moved into sales and business development, working with Fortune 500 companies and government sectors like the Department of Defense and FEMA. While raising his family, he earned a Bachelor's Degree and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He currently works in the natural gas energy sector. He and his wife are members of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
