Steven Wyatt served as the Henderson County Manager from March 2006 until his retirement in June 2021, concluding a career in local government management that spanned over 38 years. His experience includes positions in Moore, Polk, and Catawba counties. Wyatt is an alumnus of Appalachian State University, where he has been recognized with a Distinguished Alumni Award and serves on the Board of Trustees. Since retiring, he has worked as a consultant and adviser to other local governments in North Carolina.
