Susanna Finn was appointed to the Ward 3 council seat in February 2025. She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Historic Preservation and holds a Master's of Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners and has over a decade of planning and project management experience at all three levels of government. Before joining the City Council, she served as the Chair of the Planning Commission.
