He has served as the Commissioner of the Revenue since January 2002, having been first elected in November 2001 and subsequently re-elected for five four-year terms. He was educated in the City of Falls Church Public School system and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Political Science from Shepherd College. Before becoming Commissioner, Mr. Clinton worked in marketing and ran his own real estate business for 13 years. He is an active member of several community organizations, including the Greater Falls Church Chamber of Commerce, Citizens for a Better City, and the Village Preservation and Improvement Society.
