Timothy 'Zane' Hedgecock has a long history of service to the Town of Wallburg. He was a member of the interim Town Council when the town was incorporated in 2004. He was elected to the Town Council in the town's first election in November 2005 and was appointed Mayor Pro Tempore in December 2005, a role he has been re-appointed to multiple times. In August 2021, he was appointed by the EPA Administrator to the Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC), where he brings his experience from serving a small community. He has stated he has over 15 years of experience on the town council.
